Celebrating Constitutional Heritage Through Art: A Mithila-Inspired Tribute

I am thrilled to share the exciting news that my Mithila-style painting, featuring a galloping red horse, took center stage at the recently concluded Kala Ghoda Association Festival. This vibrant artwork was a proud participant in the Hamari Virasat – Har Dil Mein Samvidhan Campaign, an initiative that marked the 75th year of our constitution with a stunning collection of 75 textile artworks.

Capturing the very essence of the preamble to the Constitution of India, the exhibition showcased 75 incredible artworks, each contributing to a profound tribute to the legacy of our constitution. While I couldn't be present in person, my artwork played a significant role in bringing to life the campaign's theme, "The Majestic Steed of Democracy: A Mithila-Inspired Tribute to India’s Constitution."

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Hand For Handmade initiative for providing such a remarkable platform for artists like me to contribute to this celebration of our constitutional heritage. A special acknowledgment goes to Shibani Dasgupta Jain and Vinita Gursahani Singh for their incredible initiative and unwavering support in making this artistic endeavor a reality.

I am particularly grateful for the visit and appreciation from Dia Mirza, a leading actor, who took the time to explore and express admiration for my mural. Her presence signifies valuable support for the arts and the profound messages conveyed through them.
