From the moment the event opened, I could feel the warmth and curiosity of the Chennai audience. The city’s love for art and culture was evident in the way visitors engaged with my Madhubani creations—asking thoughtful questions about the history, techniques, and stories behind each piece.
One of the most rewarding aspects was interacting with foreign visitors, many of whom were drawn to Madhubani art's intricate details and vibrant colors. It was truly humbling to see them embrace this ancient Indian art form, and several of them even purchased pieces to take a little part of India back with them.
The event provided a platform to share my work and the story of Madhubani art—its roots in Bihar, the symbolism behind the motifs, and the labor of love that goes into every brushstroke. Watching people resonate with this story and invest in these creations reaffirmed why I do what I do.
Overall, the two days were filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and the joy of seeing my art find its way into the homes of art lovers from different walks of life. I’m deeply grateful to the organizers of By Hand From The Heart for curating such a vibrant and inclusive event and to everyone who visited my stall.
As I pack up and reflect on this beautiful experience, I carry with me the joy of a successful event and the inspiration to create even more. Until next time, Chennai—thank you for your love and support!
